Big Northern Preview: Dixon

Coach: Nick Oraham

Key Returnees:

Beau Bailey 6’2 Jr. G

Oscar Van Sickle 6’3 Jr. F

Noah Wilcox 6’1 Sr. G

Key Newcomers:

Payton Lawrence 6’3 Jr. G/F

Gabe Sohn 6’4 Jr. F

Outlook:

Dixon is returning 4 starters from a young team who went 16-14 last year and lost in the Regional Championship to Rock Falls. Coach Oraham stated “we created a tougher schedule with the Ottawa Tournament, Jacobs Tournament, & Sterling MLK so we will be better tested come playoff time.” Look for Beau Bailey (Jr.) who set the single season scoring record for Dixon last year with 584 points and made 1st Team All Conference to have another big year. Derian Duncan (Jr.) was Honorable Mention All Conference. The backcourt of Bailey and Duncan will be looking to make some noise in the Big Northern Conference this year!
